Etruscan Museum - Pisa in Tuscany
In the last sixty years there have been a series of important archeological discoveries that testify the presence of Etruscan settlements in the area, thus contributing to shed light on a substantial part of the Bientina valley’s history.
The excavations and the restoration work have brought to light numerous findings of considerable historical importance, most of which are well preserved, like Etruscan amphoras, ceramics in black bucchero or red paint, necklace pieces, buckles, pins and earrings. A portion of these items belonged to the funeral furnishings of a tomb found during the excavations and clearing works of the Bientina marshlands.
