Villa Pozzo - Pisa in Tuscany
It was originally a medieval castle destroyed by the Florentine troops, then it was transformed into a villa that belonged to the Albizzi and then to the Pucci families. Sandro degli Albizzi was believed to have conducted here the secret negotiations that led to the surrender of Pisa in 1406.
Formerly a property of the Prince Buoncompagni Ludovisi, it stands on the east side of the Cerbaie. It was restored after the damages suffered during the last war. Now it has a small Italian-style garden that offers a wonderful panoramic view of the plain.
