Villa La Torre, Capannoli - Pisa in Tuscany

It was also known as “Il Castello” (The Castle) since nearby there was a tower which was demolished later. It was built between 1592 and 1622 by the Upezzinghi family, than by the Lanfreducci. A chapel dedicated to S. Antonio da Padova was added later. The property passed to the Del Rosso family. Michelangelo Buonarroti was believed to be the architect of the villa.
