Cappella di Sant'Ottaviano - Pisa in Tuscany
The farm is situated not very far from the medieval castle, the feud of the Pannocchieschi d’Elci; it was built in the 18th century after the property was handed over to the Ricciarelli family of Volterra.
It has a square structure and consists of three levels; the façade displays two thin overhangs with stone profiles. The villa was restored around the mid-19th century; in 1803-1851 the noble Chapel with a central plan was erected in the large square, where there is a 14th-century font under a portico. The chapel dedicated to Saint Octavius, which houses some tombstones of the Ricciarelli family, was built by Jughetti, an employee of the family.
