Oratorio del Santissimo Sacramento - Pisa in Tuscany
Built in 1751, it was restored in the 18th century. The interior houses sculptures attributed to the school of Siena, a 15th-century “Virgin” and a 15th-century wooden Crucifix, which became an object of veneration, attributed to the Florentine school.
In this oratory, at the foot of the altar dedicated to Saint Walfredo – where stands out a canvas with “The Saint abandoning the weapons to take Holy Orders” by Giuseppe della Gherardesca – the relics of St. Walfredo, the blessed Andrew and the friar Leonard, who were exhumed in the year of the transfer from the old abbey (1781), are buried
