Chiesa di San Giovanni Battista - Pisa in Tuscany
It was built in the first decade of the 18th century after the abandon and relative transfer of the font and name from the parish church of San Giovanni Battitsa, out of Castellina, to the new parish.
The 18th-century building shows a ridge roof with double tympanum on the upper part of the façade and on the entrance portal, supported by simple pilasters imitating the Serena stone. The interior, half-destroyed by a grenade during the Second World War, still keeps two beautiful alabaster columns that belonged to the old altar and a wooden Crucifix of the 17th century.
