Chiesa dei SS Fabiano e Sebastiano, Chianni - Pisa in Tuscany
The church clearly shows the signs of several alterations carried out over the centuries. The façade keeps the coat of arms of the Florentine Mazzinghi family. Originally, the church had a single nave; a side aisle and a cloister were added in the 17th century to enlarge the building.
Today the interior keeps only two original paintings representing “St. Fabian and St. Sebastian” and “Our Lady of Sorrows” of the 17th century and a terracotta altar piece. On the right of the building stands the beautiful brickwork bell tower which still keeps the original double lancet window.
