Cappella Curini Galletti - Pisa in Tuscany

On the façade of the 18th-century villa of the Curini Galletti family stands out the portal of the private chapel dedicated to Santa Maria Maddalena, which was built by order of the countess Maddalena Curini by the engineer Francesco Bombicci.

Public celebrations regularly took place in the chapel. Its shape is very elegant and presents a central plan with a dome decorated with marbles and stuccos. The painting is attributed to Giovanni Battista Tempesti from Pisa: “The repentant Santa Maria Maddalena”, a framed wall painting.
